Veridian Credit Union and Western Union close e-billing deal

The Western Union Company, a provider of global payments, and Veridian Credit Union announced an agreement for Veridian to offer consumers Western Union global money-transfer and expedited bill payment services across all Veridian Credit Union’s 26 branches in Iowa.  Plans also include offering Western Union online services to Veridian’s online banking members.

Californian firm ENGEO implements CCG’s e-billing software

By switching from a manual invoice review process to an automated process with CCG Electronic Invoicing, ENGEO is  able to process 400 invoices a month with just one billing specialist.  Project managers are notified via email when draft invoices are ready to review online. They can then mark up the invoices electronically with built-in notation tools, and the system keeps track of which invoices have been reviewed.

Rent-A-Center uses information capture system by Kofax

In the past, Rent-A-Center’s accounts payable department manually processed each of the 15.000 weekly invoices. So the company set out to find a system that could convert the invoices to electronic form for faster processing, easier storage and retrieval. They eventually selected the Kofax Intelligent Capture & Exchange solution, the foundation for Kofax’s strategy to help organizations streamline business processes, partnered with LEGATO ApplicationXtender.

Verian Solutions now supports Western Caterpillar Dealer

Verian announced that a leading Caterpillar dealer has gone live with its suite of purchasing and invoice processing solutions. The client serves the Western United States with an expansive line of equipment including Caterpillar machinery, agricultural equipment, and so on. Approximately 500 employees across multiple locations are using the Verian system.

PROACTIS announces limited time Ariba trade-in program

PROACTIS, a global Spend Control and eProcurement solution provider, announces a limited time trade-in program for current users of Ariba spend management applications. “This program is intended to make it easier for Ariba customers who do not want to become part of the SAP ecosystem to move to an ERP-neutral spend management suite that is equivalent in scope to what they have with Ariba,” said Rod Jones, PROACTIS CEO.

SIX and SAP (Switzerland) reinforce alliance

SIX Payment Services, which operates the Paynet e-billing network on behalf of the Swiss banks, is enhancing its existing partnership with SAP Inc. SAP acquired Crossgate, the German hosting provider for integration and network services for business partners, in autumn 2011. Participants of both networks can exchange electronic messages, including e-bills, and now also orders and order confirmations, which will enable them to design their business processes significantly more efficiently.

Strategic partnership between Taulia and Cloud Trade

Taulia announced that it has entered into a contract with Cloud Trade, an e-invoicing company that specialises in removing paper from the financial supply chain with no software footprint or technical changes for either the sender or receiver. This new collaboration will give large organisations the ability to take advantage of Taulia’s Dynamic Payment Platform while providing suppliers more options and even greater visibility and access to online invoice submissions.
