There is of course happening much more at OB 10 HQ than celebrating their fifth consecutive Green Apple Award and Green Supply Chain Award or the fact that they were selected by John Lewis Partnership.

OB10 also communicated that they set a new benchmark for quality assurance, extended their compliance reach, appointed a Chief Quality Officer and are hosting a OB10 Buyer User Group.

Setting a new benchmark for quality assurance

OB10 moved from SAS 70 to ISAE 3402, the new global standard for internal operational controls.

PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP performed the independent assurance work that makes OB10 one of the first global service organisations to make this move.

Luke McKeever, CEO at OB10:

  • “The transition to ISAE 3402 has required us to prove our ability to meet a number of very stringent operating requirements.”
  • “This demonstrates our credentials as a well-managed and carefully controlled international enterprise that clients can rely upon as we continue to support their own audit requirements.”

OB10 extends their compliance reach

OB10 is now compliant in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania and Mexico, making them legally compliant in 38 countries.

Markus Hornburg, VP Product Development and Compliance:

  • “Compliance is more than simply a sentence in our marketing materials. It is a critical part of the invoicing process that ensures our customers can trade with confidence.”

OB10 CQO appointed

Reinforcing their commitment to quality, compliance and operational controls, OB10 appointed Chris Lowrie as Chief Quality Officer (CQO).

As an extension to his current role as Senior VP, Development for OB10, Chris Lowrie introduces  formal, quality oriented, cross-functional management practices that should enhance OB10’s position as a service-centric organisation.

Chris Lowrie as Chief Quality Officer (CQO):

  • “A key focus for me is to help make OB10 totally customer centric. We want all our customers to be advocates for the OB10 service; this will be our key measure of success.”
  • “This challenges us to adjust aspects of our organisation so that we are aligned with our customer values. We are making changes to strategies, organisational design, business processes, performance measures, and the information and support we provide.”
