OB10 nieuw logo 230x200OB10 announced that it has become one of the first global service organisations to successfully complete the transition from SAS 70 to ISAE 3402. PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP performed the independent assurance work in accordance with the new standard.

ISAE 3402 is the new globally recognised standard for internal operational controls reporting for service organisations. Unlike some of the previous standards in this area, ISAE 3402 now gives practitioners the ability to use a globally accepted framework, thus creating a more unified and transparent tool for reporting on operational controls at service organisations.

Luke McKeever, CEO of OB10 commented: “The transition to ISAE 3402 has required us to prove our ability to meet a number of very stringent operating requirements, and we are proud to have achieved this transition so quickly and effectively. This clearly demonstrates our credentials as a well-managed and carefully controlled international enterprise that our clients can rely upon and that will continue to support their own audit requirements.”

To further highlight OB10’s commitment and focus on operational controls and quality, Chris Lowrie has been appointed as Chief Quality Officer (CQO). This new role will be an extension of Chris’ current role as Senior Vice President, Development for OB10.

The CQO is tasked with introducing formalised, quality orientated, crossfunctional management practices across the entire business and will reinforce OB10’s position as a leading service-centric organisation.

“We’re very grateful to all the teams involved in the preparation and hard work that has made it possible for us to complete the transition to ISAE 3402, as well as to the operational teams who have maintained such high standards of process execution throughout the year,” adds Luke. “The move to ISAE 3402 has gone extremely well, which is great news not only for OB10, but also for all of our clients too. We are confident Chris Lowrie will be able to build on this as we continue to grow.”
