Hi Pat!
I believe it is referring to NSW and specifically, NSW Health. The link provides further detail.

Anybody out there thinking that earliest possible deadlines are NOT neeeded? If not - why not? Everyone will win on accelerated migration - except the black and grey economies.
Canada will according to my information set a deadline for 2012..
The 2020 reference is not meant to be a deadline - more of an e-brand says EC. In any case it gives the wrong impression - that e-invoicing should not be de-facto mandatory all over the place at the very latest 2015.
I think it’s useful for your interesting study to point out that in Italy the legislation provides electronic invoice from 1 January 2008 in the b-to-G in a mandatory way but the actual implementation of the obligation will be used only with the issuing of an additional and specific regulation (which has still not been yet issued). So in Italy we haven’t still the electronic mandatory invoice in the b-to-G (neither in the b-to-b).
@Paola Zambon,
Thank you for clearing this out. We’ll change it in the content.
The State Government hinted here is not NSW, it is a Large “successful” Shared Service centre servicing the whole of government for another State.
