While e-invoicing has become common in Northern Europe, acceptance in the rest of Europe has been slow. Nonetheless, it’s widely expected that use of e-invoicing will accelerate in the rest of Europe because companies are actively looking for short-term possibilities to reduce cost.
Tieto is a driving force behind the acceptance of electronic invoicing (e-invoicing) by companies. At the moment Tieto is chairing two important entities in this area: the “EU Expert Group on e-Invoicing” and the “ISO 20022 Trade Services Standards Evaluation Group (SEG)”.
