Anglian Aggregate Bagging transitions to Wesupply’s fully managed EDI service

Anglian Aggregate Bagging Co, a leading bagged aggregate supplier, has selected Wesupply’s fully managed, outsourced EDI service, OneTime, to simplify and automate the exchange of crucial business documents with its customers.

Wesupply will provide Anglian Aggregate Bagging with a complete EDI service, allowing for the automated, real-time exchange of orders, invoices and credits. They will also benefit from Wesupply’s managed service team who monitor the solution on a daily basis and proactively deal with any issues or queries that may arise.

After completing a corporate restructure, post-acquisition, Anglian Aggregate Bagging wanted an EDI solution that would integrate directly with its new Sage ERP system, simplifying the entire process of sending and receiving orders and invoices. By implementing EDI, Anglian Aggregate Bagging want to reduce the amount of admin required, to allow them to maximise their efficiency.

Jackie Barnes, Finance Director at Anglian Aggregate Bagging:

“Different customers and even different branches order the same product with completely different descriptions, so having a solution that can translate these messages into the same format was key. Wesupply will remove the need for the human intervention that was previously required to decipher what was being ordered, allowing us to expand our business without the need to increase our administrative function. Wesupply is already being used by four of our major customers, Travis Perkins, Jewson, Buildbase and Ridgeons, so we knew they had the experience and expertise to meet our requirements.”

Jon Hill, Sales Executive at Wesupply:
“Anglian Aggregate Bagging knew exactly what they wanted from an EDI solution and had taken every aspect into account.” “OneTime will allow Anglian Aggregate Bagging to take a step back from the day-to-day management of EDI and regain vital internal resources that can be utilised elsewhere in the business.”
