RBS e-Invoicing wins Environmental Best Practice Award

November 15, 2012  |  Electronic Invoicing, Events

RBS are delighted to announce that its e-Invoicing solution has won an award for Environmental Best Practice in Banking and Finance at the Green Apple Awards for the second consecutive year. Presented by The Green Organisation at the House of Commons, the Green Apple awards are the longest running environmental awards in the world, celebrating and recognising achievements with a positive impact on the environment.

Setting the bar higher

George Evers, Head of UK Channels, International Banking commented on RBS’s objectives this year:  “After winning the Award in 2011, we were not content with just achieving the same level of environmental benefits as before. This year we set the bar higher, focussing on driving greater adoption, adding additional value for buyers and suppliers by integrating e-Invoicing with our Supply Chain Finance solutions”.

RBS e-Invoicing

RBS e-Invoicing allows for invoices and trade related documents (including invoices, purchase orders and credit notes) to be issued, received, approved, reconciled and archived in real time. By automating the exchange of invoices between buyers and suppliers, organisations can enhance visibility of their cash flow, experience significant reductions in physical paper invoice documents and their associated costs, optimise days sales/payable outstanding, and reduce the volume of queries they receive.
