Getting to grips with e-invoices with iManage my invoices

April 7, 2011  |  Electronic Invoicing

This is an interesting thought on getting to grips with electronic invoices from Antti Larvala: “iManage my invoices” http://bit.ly/gL88bo

Some months ago Antti Larvala discussed the idea of how there should be one solution where my all e-invoices or actually all important messages would come.

He came up with iManage: the idea comes from iTunes, where with a single username and password one can manage their purchases from all kinds of app developers.

He posted this intriguing thought on getting to grips with e-invoices on http://bit.ly/gL88bo

What do you think? Does it make sense? How does this benefit BSP’s and Banks?

  1. Perfect idea ! - This is actually THE reason why people hesitate to accept an e-invoice. They don’t want to log in on 6 different websites with different passwords.

There should be ONE standard and ONE uniform system/language for an e-invoice. Why hasn’t this mather been discussed by the EU-commission as well.

  2. Hello Tom,

I think that it’ll take quote a long time to get to ONE standard|system|language on e-invoicing and related documents.

Why not use Symbaloo in combination with Lastpass (both free) to ease the burden of having to log in to and endless list of websites?

We use it for over 150 websites and accounts.

    Cheers, Friso.

  3. Rightly said above. I believe the solution is in integrating all websites as tom also suggested above.
