£1bn of deals go through UK public sector e-procurement platform

The UK public sector has now placed £1 billion of transactions through its e-procurement platform over the last five years, with 46 percent of deals completed in the last 12 months.

The UK public sector is said to have made millions of pounds in savings as a result. The e-procurement platform hosted the transactions from more than 5,030 organisations across the entire public sector. More than 3.4 million transactions have been processed on the network over the past five years.
