No more manual processes for Finland, Norway, Poland and Sweden

We are happy to announce that an Itella Information survey shows that automated and electronic processes seem to be preferred by companies in Finland, Norway, Poland and Sweden on a wide scale, while processes involving a certain degree of manual labour now count for less than 30% of all finance and accounting processes.

Kewill’s recent eInvoicing Survey of 117 companies shows that 44.9% of UK businesses have an e-invoicing solution in place today and 23.8% will be looking at implementing one within the next to years. That’s quite an improvement from a year ago, but there’s still a lot of work to be done.

EDI VAN stands for Electronic Data Interchange Value Added Network and it’s the subject of Liaison Technologies’ and NewEDI’s recent survey. The survey reveals that mid-market companies believe most EDI VAN providers are using old business models, resulting in higher prices and less value in today’s tougher economic climate.

20% drop in supplier resistance to e-invoicing adoption

Basware has the (un)rewarding task of bringing the world some great news and some not so great news at the same time. Their annual Global E-invoicing Study shows that supplier resistance to e-invoicing adoption has significantly decreased from 46% in 2011 to 26% in 2012. But don’t get too excited, because it also shows that 81% of invoices are scanned for invoice processing and 69% of businesses print invoices in-house.
