Remember last week’s lift-off of our trip through recent e-invoicing and AP automation history? We continue this sentimental journey and come to a halt in 2009. Just to freshen up your memories, some of the major events that occurred in 2009: Barack Obama is sworn in as the 44th president of the United States in January, Michael Jackson dies after suffering cardiac arrest in June and the US hand over security of Iraqi towns and cities to Iraqi forces in that same month. All of this pales of course before 2009’s e-invoicing and AP automation news.
