AcceptEmail is one of “20 Fintech Companies to Watch”

AcceptEmail is one of the new forces and influences that are shaping the banking industry, according to Fintech Forward’s panel of industry experts from the Bank Administration Institute (BAI), SourceMedia, and a selection of financial institutions.

Fintech Forward, a strategic alliance of BAI and American Banker, announced that AcceptEmail is one of “20 Fintech Companies to Watch” for 2015. Earlier, AcceptEmail had also been named a finalist in the category of Most Innovative Non-Financial Institutions for the BAI-Infosys Finacle Global Banking Innovation Awards.

AcceptEmail CEO Peter Kwakernaak was on hand to accept the honor at BAI Retail Delivery, which runs through Thursday, October 15 at the Venetian in Las Vegas. Kwakernaak will offer his views on financial services innovation, on his company’s approach to innovation initiatives, and his advice to banks competing in the digital age during a video interview at 3:30 today in the conference’s Media Room, Veronese 2201B.

AcceptEmail offers a simple, intuitive method of billing and payments. It is ideal for banks and businesses that serve today’s highly mobile consumers, especially the digitally-savvy members of the Millennial Generation. AcceptEmail holds a 95% market share in the Netherlands and is the leader in consumer remittances throughout Western Europe.

Peter Kwakernaak, CEO of AcceptEmail:
“Billing and payments are often a pain and a hassle, but it just doesn’t have to be that way. Just listen to the people we recently interviewed near our American headquarters in New York. In America, consumers spend an average of six days a year dealing with their bills. Our mission is to give them that time back.”
