Volvo Cars extends e-Invoicing solution with interactive credit module

volvo 150x150 Volvo Cars extends e Invoicing solution with interactive credit moduleTwo years ago Anachron implemented a full hybrid e-Documents solution at Volvo Cars Netherlands. The solution sends out all invoices and other documents electronically to 115 dealers across the Netherlands. Now, the existing web portal has been further developed with a functional and interactive credit module to improve internal communication, document exchange and to reduce errors.

The credit module allows dealers to send different types of sales- and business requests to the headquarters of Volvo Cars NL. Based on the type of request, the documents follow a certain road for management, validation and archiving.

Credit Management and electronic invoicing

Each request has its own set of rules and documents. The documents can easily be attached and validated after which the approval stage starts. The predefined rules safeguard the process, but offer enough space for fast and controlled document flow. Once all steps have been completed, the dealer (group) automatically receives the required documents for continuing the business process.

Guus Buring, Administrator at Volvo Cars NL, says: “Anachron’s solution translates our invoices automatically into an invoice proposal, creating a carefree process for the dealers. The logical next step is the electronic entry of credit applications. Because every dealer can monitor each step in the process, we extend our transparency and we can focus on improving critical business processes.”

Frank Hoekstra, CEO at Anachron, continues: “We have been able to digitalize Volvo’s documents process with a very sophisticated but user-friendly module. Next to the efficiency improvement for Volvo, it’s very important for our goal to continuously enhance our e-Documents proposition.”
