TIE Kinetix is the first cloud-based E-Commerce solution provider to be awarded ISO 27001:2013 certification for information security management. The certification confirms that all sensitive customer and partner information is secured and managed at the highest level.

The ISO 27001:2013 process was done by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance of Rotterdam, awarding TIE Kinetix with the only internationally recognized and most prestigious information security standard available, requiring TIE Kinetix to:

  • Thoroughly evaluate its own information security risks, including the impact of identified threats and vulnerabilities
  • Design and implement a comprehensive set of information security controls and other risk management measures to address security risks within its own cloud infrastructure as well as its corporate environment
  • Implement an overarching program to ensure that the information security controls meet the information security needs for both TIE Kinetix and its customers on an ongoing basis

Jan Sundelin, CEO of TIE Kinetix:

  • “In the past few years several large companies have dealt with major intrusions and/or hacks of their software or infrastructure that have resulted in the loss or exposure of sensitive customer information.
    .
  • Preventing similar instances and ensuring the safety of all sensitive customer and partner data is a top priority for TIE Kinetix, and we have taken proactive actions to ensure that information is managed and stored securely so that our partners and customers can have complete confidence in the safety of the information they share with us.
    .
  • Gaining ISO 27001: 2013 certification allows us to deliver a unique level of security for our customers that the majority of competitors cannot offer at this time.”
