Legalinvoice for Microsoft Dynamics: a new tool to support companies in Italy

The website Telecompaper mentioned that Microsoft has joined forces with Italian certified document provider InfoCert to create an electronic invoicing system designed to help businesses that use Microsoft products to meet new e-billing regulations.

The platform, dubbed Legalinvoice for Microsoft Dynamics, has been created to meet the expected demand for legally certified documentation following the government’s introduction of new legislation requiring around 2 million Italian businesses to submit electronic invoices to public administrations starting on 31 March.

The solution consists of: Legalinvoice Plugin for Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft Legalinvoice Portal for Dynamics.

The Legalinvoice Plugin provides SMEs and large companies that use either Dynamics NAV or Dynamics AX the ability to export invoices in the compliant XML format and upload them to the web front end of Legalinvoice.

Legalinvoice Portal allows instead to directly integrate Dynamics NAV and Dynamics AX with the back-end Legalinvoice replacement mode and automatically archive the invoices and attachments exchanged in SharePoint Online within Office 365.

Legalinvoice for Microsoft Dynamics enables dialogue with the System Interchange Sogei (SDI), the public infrastructure that is responsible for receiving the flow of electronic invoices and for directing them to the relevant offices. In addition, it includes all levels of notification provided technical requirements and integrates with the InfoCert Digital Signature services.
