The Vietnamese is considering to roll-out nationwide e-invoicing within 3 to 5 years. Just like other countries, the Vietnamese government is considering a system that requires companies to register their (e)invoicing data in their own system as well in the Vietnamese tax system. After registering, companies can use a barcode in their brick-and -mortar logistics as a printed evidence that an invoice has been registered.
The tax office expects to expand e-invoicing to 50 per cent of all enterprises after 3-5 years, and to all of the country’s enterprises in the following 3-5 years.

Late 2011 we already wrote about e-invoicing in Kazakhstan. At that time the Deputy Chairman of the Tax Committee Argyn Kipshakov said that Kazakhstan was to switch to electronic invoicing as from 1 July 2012. But that has been postponed to July 2014. As from October 2013 a pilot mode with electronic invoices is planned with taxpayers that have voluntary expressed the desire to start with einvoicing.
According to Tax Committee in Kazakhstan, ensuring comprehensive control of reflection with individuals of the income and identification of the persons who are evading paying taxes, is complicated as the declaration on the income and data on property are submitted by only 3.8% part of the population of Kazakhstan. Perhaps they’d better start with upgrading that percentage before thinking of introducing online billing.
Basware has partnered with CEDEX e-Autohub to connect automotive manufacturers in Europe and North America with suppliers in China. The agreement enables the connection of 5,000 Basware and 2,500 CEDEX e-Autohub suppliers and customers. A number that is expected to grow even further in the next future.
CEDEX e-Autohub ensures that the invoices of Chinese suppliers meet the customer requirements in Europe and North America, including the global invoicing standard used by major automotive manufacturers. The partnership should enable easier transmission of e-invoices between manufacturerers. Lowering the payment cycle with ten to fifteens days on average. This should lead to even better relationships between suppliers and carsellers.
