TIE Kinetix has won a bid by the city of Amsterdam to connect its >20,000 suppliers through e-invoicing via TIE Kinetix’s FLOW Partner Automation platform.

Every year companies still send a large number of invoices to the government. Since these invoices are largely processed manually and is very time consuming and expensive, suppliers of the national and local government are required, as part of the new purchasing agreements, to send e-invoices. Starting November 2018 all contracting authorities in Europe need to be able to receive and process e-invoices. E-invoices can be processed more efficiently by municipalities, but also for suppliers exchanging e-invoices, the process is easier and the results are quicker to process.

TIE Kinetix’s FLOW Partner Automation Platform offers governmental organizations solutions for e-invoicing with businesses, from enterprises to SME’s. The platform offers various modules to easily and securely send and receive electronic invoices in EDI/XML, PDF, or through an invoice portal.

In the coming months, the implementation for the city of Amsterdam will take place. The roll-out to their suppliers is expected to start in early 2018.
