Rediculous growth rates: Taulia expands management team

Taulia is quickly becoming a market-leading provider for supplier financing as it tripled its revenue in 2014. As a response to the rapid growth, Taulia announced that its management team will be expanded with not 1, not 2, not 3 but 4 new members.

Bertram Meyer, CEO Taulia:
“We’re excited to welcome these four exceptionally talented individuals to the Taulia management team. Darcy, Linda, Vikas, and Brady all bring unique skill sets, experiences, and perspectives to Taulia, and I’m looking forward to working with them as we continue to grow and meet the tremendous demand we’re seeing in the industry.”

“As we continue to grow and expand into new markets worldwide, Darcy, Linda, Vikas, and Brady will play a vital role in leading Taulia’s success.”

Here is a closer look at the latest members of Taulia’s management team:

  • Brady Cale – Vice President of Engineering.
Cale previously served as SVP and General Manager of Sincerely, a division of ProvideCommerce and prior to that as Chief Information and Technology Officer at ProvideCommerce. Brady is responsible for Taulia’s Engineering, Operations, and IT teams, focusing on delivering a best-in-class solution for all Taulia customers.
  • Darcy Douglas – Vice President of Professional Services.
Douglas, who joined Taulia in 2011, previously served as Senior Director of Client Services and as Director of Project Management for the company. She also worked as a solution architect at KnowledgeLake, Inc. and as Director of Professional Services at EMC. In her role, Darcy is responsible for driving the successful implementation of global projects for Taulia.
  • Linda Piazza – Vice President of Working Capital Solutions.
Prior to joining Taulia in March 2014, the Bay Area native served as Senior Director of Financials and Working Capital Management at the software company Ariba, where she worked since 2011. In her role, Linda leads efforts to ensure that Taulia customers meet all of their supplier financing goals.
  • Vikas Shah – Vice President of Ecosystem and Partnerships.
A seasoned business development executive, Shah comes to Taulia after spending 5 years at SuccessFactors, where he most recently served as Vice President of Global Cloud Ecosystem and Channels. Vikas is responsible for leading Taulia’s new market entry, channel sales, ecosystem development and partnership efforts globally.

The changes come in the wake of several major announcements for Taulia. After tripling growth, last month Taulia took on an additional $15 million in fundraising from Zouk Capital, and announced the hiring of its Chief Financial Officer Rik Thorbecke.
