September 8 is the date set for the 3rd edition of FeRD in Berlin, Germany’s biggest e-billing forum. The event is organized by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) and brings international experts together to discuss the future of this technology in the public sector.
In fact, this year the conference is being held after the approval in July of legislation proposed to regulate transposition of Directive 2014/55/EU into German national law. The standard calls for adoption of e-invoicing in the public administration offices of all Member States by November 2018.
Interested parties can visit FeRD free of charge, although they must register first. You can also make an appointment with specialist Emilio del Pino using the contact form on the website, to clear up any doubts about this system and its integration into businesses. To this end, EDICOM has developed the Global E-invoicing Platform, a solution designed for multinational companies to automate electronic invoicing, in compliance with the requirements of more than 60 countries worldwide.
