On 23 October 2017, CEN/TC 434 the Technical Committee in charge of Electronic Invoicing standardization activities in CEN, the European Committee for Standardization, will host in Brussels a public conference on the publication of the new European Standard (EN) on eInvoicing.
The objective of this event is to celebrate the official publication of the standard and to provide a platform for the public and private sector to exchange views and expertise with regard to approaches for the implementation of Directive 2014/55/EU on electronic invoicing in public procurement and conformance to the standard to reap the benefits of electronic invoicing developed was mandated to CEN by the European Commission.
This event represents the launch of the next big step for eInvoicing B2G as it kicks-off the implementation stage in EU Member States and EEA countries. It also represents an important step towards realising the potential of the Digital Single Market.
