TrustWeaver broadens Latin American scope

TrustWeaver today announced it will provide support for e-invoicing compliance in six additional countries in Latin America by the end of the year. In addition to Mexico, which is already included in TrustWeaver’s unique compliance mapTM, TrustWeaver-enabled partners and customers will be able to seamlessly exchange legally recognized e-invoices under the diverse tax laws of Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Cost Rica, Guatemala and Colombia.

Ditch paper invoices, says Version One invoicing software provider

Electronic invoicing software provider, Version One, is urging UK public sector bodies to ditch paper invoices in favour of e-invoicing by 2016 to help comply with European Commission (EC) proposals. The EC announced earlier this year that it intends to make electronic procurement (e-procurement) for public purchases the rule rather than the exception across Europe by mid-2016.

Bottomline and Albany Software combine businesses

Bottomline Technologies, a leading provider of cloud-based payment, invoice and banking solutions, today announced that it has gained regulatory clearance to acquire Albany Software Ltd. Formed in 1989, Albany is one of the UK’s leading BACS solution providers. The previously announced transaction is expected to be accretive within the first year. The projected financial impact of the acquisition was included in Bottomline’s recently issued fiscal 2013 guidance.

Order Express’s invoices now managed by U.S Bank

U.S. Bank Electronic Invoice Presentment and Payment will process invoices and manage payments for Order Express as part of a new partnership announced earlier today. Order Express, a money transfer service provider between U.S. and Latin America, said in a statement that the new deal will allow it to receive and pay invoices over a secure and efficient B2B network, eliminating the cost of paper invoices and providing better visibility across the payment chain.

Year-to-date, Direct Insite’s e-invoicing network has processed nearly 4 million accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices, representing a total value of more than $82 billion.

Fater SpA signs contract with Top Image Systems

Top Image Systems, a leading Enterprise Content Management (ECM) announced today signing a contract with Fater SpA, a fifty-fifty joint venture between the Angelini Group and Procter & Gamble. Fater selected eFLOW to optimize the automation of its invoice processing operations for more than 66,000 invoices per year and to overcome challenges due to other solutions.

Verian and Dataline Group partner

Verian, the leader in universal purchasing and invoice processing systems, has signed a reseller agreement with Dataline Group, a leading provider of financial automation solutions in Australia and the Asia Pacific. The agreement makes Verian’s suite of purchase-to-pay (P2P) software solutions available to customers in the Pacific Rim directly through Dataline Group.

US broadcasting and media corporation uses Basware’s services

Basware will deliver comprehensive Invoice Automation and e-Invoicing services to a major broadcasting and media corporation in the US as a service. The services to be delivered include Basware Invoice Automation, Basware e-Invoice and Basware Scan & Capture, on top of Basware`s supplier portal and activation services. The value of the deal exceeds EUR 630,000 over the next three years. The project to deliver the services will begin this year.
