U.S. Bank has allegedly signed up more than 5,000 carriers to use its freight-payment trade finance service. The appeal for carriers of getting on board this system is that they’re guaranteed to be paid. He focusses on the fact that late payments can pose a serious risk to a small supplier’s financial health, given that they have less of a financial ‘buffer’ than their larger counterparts. The Board of Tungsten has received approval from the UK's Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) for the formal change of control in the recently acquired FIBI.
