GXS Achieves GS1 UK Accreditation

GXS announced to have received GS1 UK accreditation as an eCom (EDI) and GDS solution provider. GS1 UK accreditation is offered in one of four standards and validates the accredited organisation’s knowledge and understanding of GS1 standards.
"Many companies are now requiring certification as part of their B2B provider selection process, making the GS1 UK accreditation increasingly important” said Jon Keating, vice president of EMEA at GXS. “The accreditation certifies our products incorporate the GS1 standards, which we believe offers our customers even more confidence when selecting GXS.

Dutch service providers start roaming initiative: simplerinvoicing

14 of 85 Dutch e-invoicing and accounting software providers launched SimplerInvoicing. It is set out to become a network of cooperating service providers. SimplerInvoicing aims to enhance the invoicing process of senders and receivers of e-invoices to establish large scale adoption. This means that e-invoicing is set to become generic for consumers, small/medium/large businesses and governments.

Mexico is aiming for total electronic invoicing in 2014

Mexico is making two major changes this year to aim for total e-invoicing. The first one is termination of the CFD model and making CFDI adoption mandatory. This means that suppliers will no longer be able to create their own electronic invoices but will have to work with a service provider. The other one is reducing the minimum annual income level required for companies to comply with the Mexiacan e-Invoicing mandate is USD 150,000.

OB10 supports ZUGFeRD e-Invoice standard for greater adoption among German SMEs

ZUGFeRD has been developed by BMWi, the Federal Ministry of the Interior, and BITKOM, the Federal Association for Information Technology, Telecommunications and New Media, and includes input from OB10. Using ZUGFeRD, OB10 is able to provide e-invoicing adoption to a growing number of German SMEs willing to start with e-invoicing and invoice automation.
