According to Euromoney’s 2014 cash management survey, over 60% of a record 28,000 treasury professionals from non-financial corporates and financial institutions want to see the universal use of a common electronic bank billing standard, with Asia Pacific based treasurers the highest by region among them at 68%. Tungsten successfully completes acquisition of DocuSphere

We earlier already mentioned that Tungsten was in the process of buying Docusphere. Tungsen now announced that is has successfully completed its acquisition of DocuSphere in September 2014.
This deal significantly extends Tungsten’s goal to help companies streamline their AP, adhere to tax and regulatory compliance, and have greater transparency of the entire invoice-to-pay process.

PIAC estimated the total is "conservatively" between $495 million and $734 million, plus taxes. Some $102 million in fees are being paid by low-income Canadians and seniors who don't have Internet access at home or don't use computers!
PIAC was pleased when the federal government pledged to ban the practice of charging for paper bills, first in its throne speech last October and then again this February in releasing its budget.
