The trend from paper-based to electronic invoicing continues. More and more companies are recognizing that enormous cost reduction potential can be achieved with the electronic processing of invoices. Europe’s leading E-Invoicing experts will meet in Amsterdam to present the necessary know-how for companies to successfully implement their own E-Invoicing projects at the 5th European EXPP Summit 2009.
Europe’s leading Congress on E-Invoicing & E-Billing will celebrate its fifth anniversary this year. E-Invoicing experts and interested parties from about 30 countries will meet in Amsterdam to exchange views about current trends and perspectives.
Bruno Koch, one of Europe’s pioneers in E-Invoicing and founder of the European EXPP Summit, will present current trends and market developments from his most recently published market study, “E-Billing / E-Invoicing in Europe”.
Top-notch speakers from BT Global Services, the Danish Government, the Euro Banking Association, Kuoni Travel, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Telenor, Wärtsilä Corporation, Indicium Solutions, Albalia Interactiva and many more will talk about their experiences with E-Invoicing projects over the course of two days. They will also give participants the most important advice for a successful implementation of E-Invoicing. The role of banks, but also the importance of business networks for quick market acceptance of E-Invoicing, will be discussed. Global Shared Services strategies are on the agenda, as well as a look at the rapidly growing E-Invoicing market in Latin America. A pilot project of the European Commission on E-Invoicing and E-Ordering in the public sector will be presented from the point of view of the Commission and a supplier.
A panel discussion on “The Role of the Financial Supply Chain in the Economic Crisis” is to show the vital importance of rapid cost cutting and offer participants the opportunity to actively take part in the discussion. Due to the very positive response from the previous year, the popular roundtables will also be featured again this year. The following topics, among others, will be discussed at the roundtables: “PDF- or E-Invoicing” and “Should Electronic and Paper-Based Invoicing in the Future be Treated Equally under the Law?”
At the accompanying trade show, visitors can obtain information on the newest E-Invoicing solutions and discuss their individual questions with the exhibitors in a relaxed atmosphere.
The mixture of lectures from experts in the field and professionals with practical experience, as well as podium discussions, roundtables and especially the focus on Europe will make the European EXPP Summit 2009 a compulsory event for CEOs, CFOs and IT decision makers from all over Europe.
